We had another ultrasound today to make sure everything was good with the baby’s heart after hearing some irregular rhythms at our routine check this week. After spending an hour with the sonographer, the perinatologist reviewed the scan and explained that everything was just fine, and that sometimes babies (especially between 18-24 weeks) just have little hiccups in their hearts without cause. Although we didn’t feel too worried beforehand, it was nice to be reassured that our baby’s heart looks just fine. I love this new picture we got today with the baby’s foot right in front of it’s face. Must be a bit of a tight fit in there!
