Guess I’m becoming one of those “once a month” bloggers. December was packed with family, travel, and my favorite, Christmas cookies. Here are some highlights!

Caleb’s Thanksgiving Feast
Caleb’s class had their Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday. He loved the turkey! I forgot to bring my camera so here’s a quick shot of the class from my phone.

These guys LOVED trick-or-treating this year! We’ve got the army guy, the sheriff, and the UPS man.

Snow Day
We took a little weekend away and headed up north to spend time with family at the cabin. We did not expect to see this!
I love the contrast of the white snow and the red fall leaves.
So we stayed inside by the fire, to build little cabins and train tracks, and watch movies…
But the next day, it was warm enough for fishing, rhino rides on the forest roads, and playing outside. Best of both worlds in one little weekend.
These guys always take a little nap when they ride on the rhino. Not sure if it’s the bumpy road or the fresh air?
Planking
Caleb rarely takes a nap, but since we were planning on staying out late I decided to see if he would take one. Instead of sleeping, he practices his planking skills…
